During the last full day on Thursday, the Argentine LVP League of Legends national league confirmed the eight teams that they will advance to the playoff stage. For eight weeks of the regular phase, the Apertura had 12 squads that played a double round-robin (all against all) to decide the positions in the standings.
The end of the first instance marked the early release of WAP Esports, Maycam Evolve, KRÜ Esports and Malvinas Gaming. Thus, the classifications in ascending order are: Undead BK, River Plate, 9z, Stone Movistar, Leviathan, EBRO, Pampas and Boca Juniors. The three favorites kept a remarkable distance from the rest of the competition, Boca in first place with 19 wins.
With their results, the teams at the top of the table will face the lowest in bo5 elimination series, starting in the quarterfinals with the cross between the last and the first: Undead BK and Boca Juniors. Leviathan will have a duel against Stone Movistar, EBRO against River Plate and Pampas against 9z. The eliminated teams will return once again with the start of the regular phase of the second split.
The playoffs will begin on March 24 with the eight squads looking for first place and the prize of 500,000 Argentine pesos. The matches can be followed on the official LVP Argentina Twitch channel or Flow channel 601.
