The body of a 58-year-old man was found buried in the courtyard of a house in the Formosa city of Palo Santo and for the crime the couple and her two children were arrested, who had reported the victim's disappearance after an alleged attack on her own home.
Last Tuesday, a 50-year-old woman came to the local police station to denounce that in the early morning of the previous day two men with their faces covered had entered her property located on Moreno Street, in the San Blas neighborhood.
There, according to the woman's account, the criminals threatened her and then entered the room where her partner slept, who was stabbed several times in the stomach.
According to the lady's testimony, the two men forced her to clean the place and dragged her partner away.
After reporting the disappearance, justice auxiliaries appeared at the woman's house, who authorized the entry of police officers to the property.
Inside the house, security personnel observed traces of a campfire and disturbed dirt in the yard of the property, as well as a motorcycle with traces of burning.
As reported by Agenzia Télam, these events attracted the attention of the investigators, who found inconsistencies in the complaint made by the woman and, for this reason, reported the circumstances to the Examining and Correctional Court 5 of the First Judicial District of Formosa, which ordered the safeguard of the place with police custody, and then the judge on duty ordered the search.
Finally, the procedure was carried out this Wednesday at 10.40 am and the head of the Palo Alto police station was present, accompanied by the expert and photographer of the Delegation of the Scientific Police Delegation of El Colorado, under the supervision of the head of Regional Unit Two based in Pirané, the chief commissioner Nicolino Arias.
As a first step, an eye inspection was carried out in the courtyard of the house, where several recent excavations were found and, when removing the earth, the expert found fractionated bone remains, part of a motorcycle, clothing, papers in the name of the missing man and other objects, some of them with traces of recent partial incineration. And although the official identification remains to be made in the morgue, police sources confirmed that it is the body of the man who is allegedly missing.
On the other hand, inside the house, furniture, knives and other items were found with red spots, apparently of blood, while a manuscript was found containing the version of the events that the victim's partner reported to the police headquarters.
Faced with the macabre discovery of the body and the evidence found, the magistrate in charge of the case ordered the arrest of the woman and her two children, aged 32 and 33, for the crime of “murder aggravated by the bond, with anger and harassment”. The three were housed in a section waiting to be investigated.
