Oriente Petrolero and Royal Pari seek to survive in South American in Bolivian series

Bolivian teams Royal Pari and Oriente Petrolero will play their chances of remaining in the Copa Sudamericana-2022 this Tuesday, when they face in the first stage second leg, which grants a place in the group round.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:15pm local (10:15pm GMT) at the Ramón 'Tahuichi' Aguilera stadium, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, a city in eastern Bolivia where both teams come from.

The appointed referee is Ecuadorian Augusto Aragon, assisted by his compatriots Byron Romero and Christian Lescano.

In the other leg of the first phase in Bolivia, Jorge Wilstermann is very close to keeping the qualifying ticket after a 4-0 beating of Guabirá last Thursday.

- East Oil, with minimal advantage -

Oriente Petrolero, the team of former Bolivian international Erwin 'Platini' Sánchez, reaches the rematch with a 3-2 victory over Pari last Tuesday.

Therefore, a draw would be enough to advance to the group stage of the regional championship.

In addition, although the match will take place in the same stadium as the first leg, this time the albiverdes will be administratively local.

But despite being the favorites, the 'refiners' come from taking a hit in the local tournament: they lost 1-2 to Blooming by the last date of the local tournament.

The coach is expected to appeal to a formation similar to the one that led to the victory against the 'real estate', with Uruguayan Hugo Dorrego and Argentinean duo Facundo Suárez and Luciano Guaycochea in the attack.

- Royal Pari, urged to win -

The Pari need a victory by the slightest difference to aspire to a penalty round for qualifying to the group round.

The other option, less likely, would be a triumph by a difference of at least two goals, which would allow him to qualify directly.

Unlike their rival, those led by former Bolivian national team coach Julio César Baldivieso have not yet played the sixth round of the Bolivian league.

They will face the Guabirá of neighboring Montero, who already has one foot outside the South American after a win by 'Wilster'.

Baldivieso is likely to make modifications to the team that lost to Oriente Petrolero to avoid opening spaces for the rival and strengthening the attack.

Then, it would not surprise the presence of Panamanian Rolando Blackburn, seconded by local Gilbert Álvarez.

Possible lineups:

East Oil: Wilson Quinonez - Maximiliano Caire, Sebastian Alvarez, Leandro Zaspe, Ayrton Paz - Juan Ribera, Daniel Rojas, Victor Dorrego, Hector Sanchez - Luciano Guaycochea, Facundo Suarez. DT: Erwin Sanchez.

Royal Park: Daniel Vaca - Esteban Orfano, Guimer Justinian, Roberto Luzurraga, Marvin Bejarano - Carlos Ribera, Jose Chavez, Hernan Rodriguez, Emanuel Amoroso - Rolando Blackburn, Gilbert Alvarez. DT: Julius Cesar Baldivieso.
