A five-fold champion, the 16-year-old gymnast became the youngest to achieve this in 40 editions of the World Championship. Born in Russia and trained by a Belarusian woman, she shines at a time when, paradoxically, competitors from neither of these two countries can participate because of the war in Ukraine.
