Colombia is one of the most important countries for the music industry today and, above all, for the urban genre, since the vast majority of artists who shine in these rhythms come from this country.
In fact, cities like Medellín have also become an icon for the movement, considering that artists such as Karol G, J Balvin, Maluma, Blessd, Ryan Castro and Feid, highlight it through their songs.
However, there are reggaeton singers who have chosen to give visibility to other venues such as Bogotá, the city that gave the name to the most recent release of Nay Arias, who joined with Lord Juan and Tommy Navia to put the Colombian capital in the public eye.
In an interview with Infobae, the artists confessed why they wanted to bet him on writing about a place that, despite its importance, is not usually highlighted in the genre.
Likewise, Lord Juan stressed that with this new song they seek to create a whole movement around the capital and generate union between their artists who, he says, are often much more dispersed.
In addition, he says that being born in Bogotá and having grown up in France gives him greater ownership when it comes to talking about the good things that this city has to offer its inhabitants and visitors.
A review of the careers of these artists:
Lord Juan
He began writing and singing songs of various genres in several languages. His first single 'Hoy Se Fué', released in October 2017, is placed in the Latin urban music landscape and following that path his song 'Animales', which reached the top 50 viral on Spotify in Spain and Colombia.
Nay Arias
He is a Colombian Venezuelan artist who lives in Spain and has been in music for years. Influenced by Hip Hop and R&B, he is currently handling all kinds of lines within the urban genre, from trap and reggaeton, to dancehall and other rhythms. However, its rapper essence always stands out.
Tommy Navia
He is a composer and singer raised in Colombia, of course, passionate about music since he was a child, especially the urban genre. He is currently working as a composer for several artists in his country with the studio and company Mamba Records.
