Marcela Mar revealed who she will support in the 2022 presidential election

Actress Marcela Mar has been commenting on politics on social media since the start of the presidential campaign. On April 24, the protagonists of Satan (2007) revealed who she will vote for and took the opportunity to throw pujas on certain candidates. In a trill, the actress assured that she will support Sergio Fajardo in the first round of the 2022 presidential elections, which will take place on May 29.

“Seeing what the extremes offer, now more than ever I stay in the center. I bet on Sergio Fajardo,” Marcela Mar wrote on her Twitter account.

Recently, the actress had made clear her disagreement with Gustavo Petro's proposal for social forgiveness, which sparked the indignation of many.

Given some responses from Internet users, Marcela was more incisive when it came to denying Iván Moreno the famous “social forgiveness”.

“Mr. Moreno stole from us from Bogotá, did he return what was stolen yet? No, then there is nothing to explain or justify... Forgiveness is an intimate and individual act. A lot of explanation for something that doesn't have it. Scoundrels”, concluded the 43-year-old actress.

A few months ago, the 43-year-old from Bogota has made news because of the lesson she gave to a woman who, through Instagram, dedicated herself to sending her messages questioning her about her thinness.

“I uploaded a photo and a follower told me that I looked very cute, but I was very 'skinny' and that I should eat more, something that was more like a passive-aggressive review,” she said in an interview with the entertainment program 'I know everything'.

In the same way, Marcela Mar invited this user and all those who are dedicated to criticizing other people, to go and see 'The Strongest, 'a classic play that she will be presenting at the Ibero-American Theatre Festival, in which the role of sorority among women is highlighted.

The actress's defense of her freedom to look as she pleases best aroused different reactions in her community of fans, as many of them felt identified.

“That sparked a discussion and my followers began to tell me that they too had felt abused and persecuted by other women, including members of their family. Ultimately, I think that no one should have an opinion about the other person's physique, because thinking about the physique of others is an aggression, it is an unsolicited opinion, we all have mirrors in the house (...) Sometimes a person has a condition, a problem or may be going through a depression, then you don't know anything about it, so you shouldn't have an opinion about the other's physique or life, it's not your concern. And what we want in this work is precisely to put ourselves in that mirror, see each other and think about ourselves,” he added.

Finally, in her conversation with 'I know everything', Marcela Mar said that her three-year relationship with Pedro Fernández has been a dream come true, as she has been able to carry out her family and personal projects by her side.

“It is a great blessing in my life to have my husband, because I want him to make his dreams come true and he wants the same for me. On that path we meet and we are building it together, but also apart because he has his three children and I have mine, although the idea of this great family, or herd - as I tell you -, is that everyone should find their own voice”, he concluded.
