Magaly Medina and the complicated marriage she had with the father of her son Gianmarco

She and her son's father met when they were just 19 years old. He was first in love, so they had a rather intense relationship, although they ended soon after, however, they resumed their romance when they found out that the journalist was pregnant.

In an interview with Andrea Llosa, Magaly Medina confessed that she had to marry Marco Mendoza because her family practically forced her, because her father being a fairly conservative person would not let her have her child if she was not married.

“I was 19 years old. He was my first crush. I got married because I had to get married. My dad wasn't going to let me have a child without getting married: he was very conservative. I lived together for two years. (...) When I became pregnant, we were done”, she said.

SHE ENDED THE RELATIONSHIP

Magaly Medina also revealed that she made the decision to end her romantic relationship with Marco Mendoza because of the constant fights they had at home, so she was only next to him for two years.

“I prepared my separation very calculatively and coldly. I put up with everything for the guy and I was quiet. It was just that he had a horrifying character. Even I didn't fight anymore. He worked in Lima, and when he was there on weekends we fought. So, it was a very tense relationship,” said the TV host.

The controversial journalist pointed out that her first husband did not want her to work or study, so against her will she applied to the University of Huacho. “I wasn't even allowed to work. Against his will, I applied to the University of Huacho and studied business administration for a whole year,” he said.

Because she didn't want to continue with him, she ended their relationship despite her pleas. “I prepared every step of my separation. I was very mean to him, he didn't convince me by his crying and I left him, like you leave an old shoe. Yes, (he loved me) a lot,” he added.

I DIDN'T GET ALIMONY

According to Magaly Medina herself, her ex-husband Marco Mendoza at first refused to share the responsibility he had with his son, so nothing happened to him for the maintenance of the child. For this reason, she fulfilled the work of father and mother.

“I had to work to send for milk and diapers. Over time, my ex-husband understood and sent for expenses, but fundamentally my son was my responsibility all my life,” he said.

YOUR SON DOESN'T GET ALONG WITH HIS DAD

Magaly Medina confessed that she tried to bring her son Gianmarco closer to his father but did not succeed, this after he married another woman. She also confessed that her father considers her second husband, César Lengua, to be her real father.

“He (Marco Mendoza) loses contact with his son. I marry César Lengua for the second time at age 26, whom I thank for playing the role of father. My son, when he asks, says 'my dad' for Caesar; that is how his difference is. He has a relationship with his sisters, but there is no father-son relationship,” he said.
