It also established that the second injury was serious to the extent that some brainstem fibers were broken during the sudden movement after the shock, which generated “hemorrhage because the movements broke fibers and damaged brain tissue. The list includes a “trauma to the sternal region”, “a small blow to the lip”, “trauma to both sides”, “injury to the aorta” and “a contusion to one lung”.
