On this day, the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) were held, during the awards ceremony for various musical artists, Telemundo's production awarded Christian Nodal the prize for Extraordinary Evolution.
The event on stage at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas was attended by more than 30 artists on stage and a large group of presenters who came together to announce the winners.
The Prize for Extraordinary Evolution is given to musical artists whose career succeeds rapidly, such as Nodal, whose first song to be known internationally was Adiós Amor in 2016.
Other artists who received recognition for Extraordinary Evolution were Maluma in 2018, Becky G in 2019 and Ozuna in 2021.
Christian Nodal is 23 years old and is considered the leader of a new generation of Mexican regional music. According to EFE, the Award is given to a young artist “who reflects change, growth and speed in his career,” stressed the Hispanic network Telemundo, the organizer of the event, this Monday.
Christian Jesús González Nodal, his first name, burst onto the music scene at the age of 17 with a fusion of the classic mariachi sound and accordion touches. “This has given the world of Mexican music a new twist to this world-renowned sound, now turned by this talented artist into 'Mariacheño',” Telemundo stressed.
As for his personal life, Christian Nodal was criticized for stating that he would like to move to the United States because in Mexico he cannot be “comfortable” with his luxuries, the singer defended himself and assured that his main concern is the insecurity that you live in Aztec lands.
Recently, during a live broadcast on his Twitch channel, Christian Nodal confirmed what was already being speculated, he will be looking to live in the US to be able to take over different luxuries without having to worry about your privacy.
“Well, it's really hard to live in Mexico, it's like you can't have anything to please, you know? You can't have your nice car, your nice house, because everyone is going to know where you live, everyone is going to know what car you're in,” he said in his broadcast and the reviews soon reached his social networks.
Netizens questioned the words of Belinda's ex-boyfriend as the singer recalled some of the problems he has had with luxury vehicles he buys in Mexico and that he cannot enjoy them, comparing the situation in the United States, where many people enjoy the life he wants to give themselves.
