During yesterday's press conference, Prime Minister Torres, in addition to pointing out the optional use of the mask, indicated that the return of all public servants to face-to-face work was agreed, in places where more than 80 percent of the population have been vaccinated with the three doses.
It also approved the elimination of the distance between students in the same classroom, which will allow 100% capacity, education minister Rosendo Serna reported today.
Reporting on the agreements reached after today's meeting of the Council of Ministers, Serna pointed out that these restrictions will no longer exist in any educational institution because they want to guarantee one hundred percent of attendance.
“I want to thank the premier's willingness and also the technical team of the health sector to address this issue. After a debate, the elimination of the distance meter has been defined. This will allow a capacity of 100% of the students in their classrooms. It is no longer a measure of restriction in any educational institution because we want to guarantee 100% of face-to-face participation,” he said.
On the other hand, the law was passed allowing chemical castration for rapists of minors. This was stated by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Félix Chero Medina, at the press conference offered by the head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Aníbal Torres, and Ministers of State.
“Today the Council of Ministers approved the bill implementing specialized medical treatment for the inhibition of libido for juvenile rapists. Many say that chemical castration is a name that does not correspond. This bill has been approved, and tomorrow it is being submitted to Congress for analysis, discussion and, if they consider it pertinent, approved,” said Chero.
