“Remember that the database of people excepted by Shared Car is downloaded on Friday night, so from Saturday you must apply for permission again for the following week, if you require it,” stressed the entity.
This is the step by step to obtain the driving permit in Shared Car in Bogotá, which gives Mobility:
-Click on the green button “Registration of excepted vehicles for three or more people, electric and hybrid”.
-Click on the blue “Please note” button at the top right of the form and verify that you meet the minimum requirements.
-Fill out all the fields of the form and click on the “Record Information” button.
-Then, you must verify on the SIMUR page https://www.movilidadbogota.gov.co/web/SIMUR/excepciones/consultarPlaca/ that the permit is valid, by entering the license plate number of the car.
-With this, your permit is ready. If Civilian Traffic Officers or Traffic Police stop the vehicle, they will check the database and see that the permit is valid. Remember to keep the occupancy of 3 or more people in the vehicle.
-Remember that the database of vehicles excepted by Carpool (3 or more occupants) is downloaded on Friday nights, so from Saturday you must apply for the permit again for the following week, if required.
