A regrettable case of assault against children was filed in the municipality of Pelaya department del Cesar, a minor who was only 13 years old who was allegedly repeatedly abused by her 60-year-old father and 26-year-old brother.
The minor who is now in pregnancy would have fled due to the sexual assaults that began against her between 2020 and the end of 2021: “Due to the continuous aggressions and her pregnancy, the victim decided to flee her home and report the situation to the authorities,” said the Attorney General's Office.
As indicated by the accusator of the nation due to its request, a judge with a guarantee control function issued an assurance measure in a prison center against the father and brother of the attacked minor.
Those arrested were charged with sexual offences with children under 14 years of age, but the Prosecutor's Office points out that both father and brother pleaded not guilty: “Father and son were arrested by court order and charged with the crimes of abusive carnal access with an aggravated minor under 14 and sexual act with an aggravated minor under 14 years of age. They didn't accept charges.” For her part, the child under the age of 13 is accompanied by health professionals.
In other reports of violence against children on the coast, a 63-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a girl as young as 9 was captured in the municipality of Piojo in the Atlantic.
In a statement, the prosecutor reported that the sexual offender allegedly knew the family of the 9-year-old girl: “According to investigations conducted by a prosecutor at the Center for Comprehensive Care for Victims of Sexual Abuse (Caivas), the 63-year-old defendant was a day laborer there and reportedly sexually assaulted several times to the daughter of another employee when she was placed in her care”.
Investigators from the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), in coordination with uniformed members of the National Police, captured the person under investigation pursuant to a court order against him on the road that leads from the municipality of Piojó to Juan de Acosta in the department of Atlántico.
For the defendants of 60 and 26 years of age, they were charged with the crimes of violent carnal access in circumstances of punitive aggravation in successive homogeneous competition, but as indicated by the accuser neither of them accepted the charges.
The Attorney General's Office concluded: “The only promiscuous municipal judge of Piojó endorsed the request of the Prosecutor's Office and issued an intramural insurance measure, so he was transferred to the district prison El Bosque.”
