During the parliamentary session that debated the Electricity Reform in the Chamber of Deputies on Sunday, April 17, Fabiola Rafael Dircio, a deputy for the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), denounced Emmanuel Reyes Carmona, of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) bench, of appearing at the House of Saint Lazarus in a state of intoxication and of violating the PRD supporter.
Through social networks, the public official shared a video in which she is seen discussing with Morena's deputy; in the recording you can see how the indigenous legislator asked her political opponent to return to her seat so as not to continue with a debate that increased in volume.
Due to the behavior shown by the deputy from Guanajuato, a discussion began in which Emmanuel Reyes exchanged words with Fabiola Rafael to the extent that he shouted.
In the plenary room, it was heard that someone accused him of being “drunk” because he showed no consistency in his actions and he tried to continue the discussion with the perredista; immediately the cry of “anti-doping” sounded to defend and support the deputy as the ideological shock was increasing and Reyes Carmona refused to leave the place to return to his seat with a political party.
Later, the Guerrero deputy wrote a message on Twitter in which she argued that she was a victim of gender-based violence and discrimination by Emmanuel Reyes, since the cries described them as “an obvious expression of anger and aggression.”
“The screams are an obvious expression of anger and aggression, the deputy @EmmanuelReyesC president of the health commission, rebuked me in a rude and denotative way (sic), for years I have fought against gender violence and discrimination based on race issues,” she shared on social networks.
In a second tweet he stated that he would continue in the fight for “a better Mexico”, as he argued on his Twitter account:
The incident occurred during the first session in relation to the Electricity Reform proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).
