The remembered Universal Family Bonus was granted at the beginning of the pandemic during the administration of former President Martín Vizcarra. This was due to the confinement that the Government established in Peru as a measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, the financial subsidy has changed to the name “Yanapay Bonus”.
Under the government of Pedro Castillo, the name of this state benefit has been varied, which is aimed at people belonging to the extreme poverty group and who are also registered in the Household Focalization System (SISFOH). As announced at the time by the Ministry of Development of Social Inclusion, through its main representative, Dina Boluarte, this bonus will impact more than 13 million Peruvians who are were affected by the various ravages left by COVID-19.
In the case of the Yanapay Bond, it consists of the following deliveries: S/700 soles per family and S/350 soles per beneficiary person.
So far, the representatives of the State have not confirmed an additional delivery of this bond for 2022.
