AMLO supporters threatened to prevent the passage to opposition during the Electricity Reform vote

Armando Monter, leader of the National Labour Front, said that on Sunday there will be at least 5,000 supporters outside San Lazaro to support the 4Q legislators

Since Thursday night, the first members of the National Labradorist Front, headed by Armando Monter, began to arrive in a sit-in outside the Chamber of Deputies.

Until the afternoon of this Friday, there are only ten Morenoist supporters who have already settled in this sit-in in defense of the Electric Reform, promoted by AMLO, and which will discuss the plenary session of the Congress this Sunday.

Monter assured several media outlets that during the night of this Friday and all Saturday more supporters will arrive; he even said that there will be more than five thousand who are outside the San Lazarus compound.

The protesters set up two tents. And on one of the walls of the Chamber, just about two meters from the main entrance to the enclosure, are glued several posters on which are “AMLO is not alone”, “yes to the electrical reform” and “Edna Díaz, traitor vendepatria”.

Originally from Hidalgo, Monter rejects that the Morena party is behind this plato, who, he says, acts in an authentic way to fight for that reform.

He threatened that if necessary, they will prevent PRI, PAN, PRD and MC legislators from entering the House this Sunday, who are expected to vote against the reform, which they consider something very serious “because they are representing the interests of foreign companies.”

“On Sunday there will be no less than 5,000 people here, at least from the National Labour Front, plus the organizations that are going to join; we are not going to allow them and if we have to deny them access to this compound that belongs to us, to the people, we are not going to let them in

Monter adds that this Sunday they will ask that a commission of the National Labour Front and the National Front in defense of the Electricity Reform be present when the ruling of the Electricity Industry Law comes up to the tribune.

It is worth mentioning that this same character has led sittings and protests outside other venues such as the National Electoral Institute (INE), the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), and in other rallies, such as support for former Morenoir Senator Felix Salgado Macedonio, who was seeking the candidacy for Guerrero and was accused of crimes sexual.
