
After two years, the representation of the Passion of Christ in Iztapalapa once again welcomes faithful and tourists in person. Cerro de la Estrella and surrounding streets will receive around 150,000 people this Good Friday, according to Mexico City authorities.

“To ensure safety in Iztapalapa, we supervise the Oasis and Santa Cruz sectors; this Good Friday, about 150,000 people are expected to arrive at the representation of the Passion of Christ, yesterday there were an average of 110,000 attendees,” announced Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Security at the entity.
