On April 10, several celebrities shared their participation in election day for the Revocation of Mandate, although not many have shared that they went out to vote, some of whom have shown a strong stance on this exercise.
One of the first actresses to attract attention when promoting the working day was Regina Orozco, as she also showed that her right thumb was already marked by the indelible ink of the National Electoral Institute (INE) when she attended to exercise her vote.
Through her Twitter account, the protagonist of Se renta Cuartos Primero shared a video by Damián Alcázar, where the actor addresses young people to go out and vote so that the president continues in his post.
A few hours later he shared a series of photographs showing that he attended a special polling place. He arrived at actor Mario Loría, with whom he attended the special box.
“I am working in Puerto, Vallarta but I attended #ConsultaPopular in a special box. There is no excuse for not participating in #RevocacionDeMandato #TodosALaCalle,” he wrote in a tweet.
The video Orozco quoted from Alcázar was one of the first to gain significance on social networks, as users pointed out that it could possibly be violating the electoral ban, as it called on citizens to vote and promoted support for Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
This is not the only video on this topic that Damián shares, because throughout this week he had disseminated content with the same plot.
Likewise, on Saturday night, April 9, he assured that he will attend to exercise his vote; “Tomorrow, Sunday, April 10, many feelings will be deposited at the polls, we Mexicans not only defend the president, we defend Mexico, we will respond to media attacks that the press does not stop, we will make it clear that Mexico is a country sovereign and that the people rule”, he wrote in a tweet.
Another famous woman who already shared her photograph with her thumb painted with indelible ink was singer Eugenia León, who for several weeks ago had shown her support for López Obrador in the Mandate Revocation.
From 9:00am the interpreter wrote: “Ready, we have done it! #revocaciondemandato” and posted a photo with her son, both showing their thumbs.
Actor Demian Bichir, despite not using his social networks to interact with Internet users, returned to his Twitter account only to show his support for AMLO, and, although he hasn't confirmed that he has already voted, he wrote: “Finish the task. @lopezobrador_ stays. You're not alone, President.”
The last time the protagonist of Sex, Modesty and Tears shared a tweet was in August 2021.
From 8:00 a.m. on April 10, the voting day of the citizens' consultation on the Revocation of Mandate began, in which citizens are questioned whether or not they agree with AMLO ending their term of office .
