Christian Domínguez has not only stood out in the world of entertainment for being the leader of different cumbia orchestras, but also for his media romances over the years.
The cumbiambero is remembered for having been unfaithful on more than one occasion to his ex-partners, including the mother of his first daughter, Melanie Martinez, with whom he met married in 2006.

Melanie Martínez and Christian Dominguez met in the musical field. They fell deeply in love and decided to marry shortly after their relationship, this despite the fact that the cumbiambero was married to Tania Ruiz, who lives in the United States.
As a result of his love, Camila Domínguez was born, the first daughter of the now television presenter, however, she was the second baby his wife had, since she already had another little girl from a previous relationship.
Despite the years of relationship they had, in 2010, Melanie Martinez announced that her relationship with the singer came to an end due to infidelity. In an interview, she reported that she began to suspect that her partner was disloyal to her because of the unexpected departures she had from home, and that she was returning late from the rehearsals of El Gran Show.
Although Christian Dominguez denied the accusations of his daughter's mother, over the weeks Magaly Medina magazine caught the singer quite affectionate with his dancer from the Gisela Valcárcel show, thus confirming that he was unfaithful to his partner.
