Martha Moyano recognizes that audio voice with strategy to get Pedro Castillo out is hers

The congresswoman of Martha Moyano, from Fuerza Popular, acknowledged that it is her voice that is heard in an audio circulated in recent days on social networks and in which she talks about a strategy to seek the way out of Pedro Castillo of the presidency of the Republic. However, he assured that it has been edited and that it is out of context.

Moyano assured that the recording is part of a response he offered to the Fujimorist militancy who claimed for the defeat that political group suffered when the second motion of presidential vacancy, which was voted on in Congress on 28 March, did not reach the necessary votes.

“The audio has been cut and that is why, when you are going to listen to it, you are going to listen to it in another context. It is a message that I give to the Fujimorists internally, drawing their attention to complaints they had against the result of the vacancy, and I clarify things that I have said in several programs, that there are no votes for vacancy. Not even right now,” he said in an interview with Exitosa radio.

In addition, he considered that the message he gave to the militants of his party did not constitute any crime, because it would have been edited and these are things that he has already expressed before.

“What I mean by this is that the audio has been cut is that they take it out of context and that there is nothing illegal or anything that I have said before, it is a political message for an internal group of fujimorists,” he said.

In recent days, while demonstrations against rising fuel prices and various products in the basic family basket turned violent, Martha Moyano's audio with the “strategy” for the presidential vacancy went viral.

“Of course we have a strategy. The strategy is not counted, it is not said. Of course it is working, we are moving forward, all from our own trench. We from Congress, you on the street, lawyers in the areas of the judiciary and constitutional prosecution, journalists from your space”, you hear him say on the recording.

“Stop saying 'there is no strategy' and repeating the same thing as everyone else and lamenting, please. If you call yourself Fujimorists, start analyzing well. Of course we've won. This is a battle. We have taken him to the hemicycle (to Pedro Castillo), we have made him tremble, make him afraid”, he adds.

OTHER CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENTS

It should be remembered that, in November 2021, Martha Moyano was recorded at a meeting with transport unions in which she urged them to block tolls with their own units to generate tolls “quite a vehicular chaos.”

“Imagine that with all the buses and transport they stop at tolls and simply do not pass, and there is a lot of vehicular chaos. It would be a huge protest! I do it as a proposal, I hope they can take it”, he was heard saying.

“Imagine that you paralyze like that. Not in a march, but with their own vehicles, at tolls, without moving forward and starting to honk, something like that. But the carrier, with its transport, should be stopped at tolls and cause the chaos of history,” he added at the meeting.
