
The vice-president of Peru, Dina Boluarte, tried to put on cold cloths the attitude of some protesters who have caused damage and robberies in recent years protests. In a brief approach to the press, the Minister also called for social tranquility in the face of events of violence.
“We recognize that we have errors in management, but this is not the time to blame everything on the government. The hydrocarbon crisis is limiting us to the conflict in Russia and Ukraine. The economic crisis also, because prices have increased by 70% worldwide, then the cost of basic necessities has increased, housewives are complaining,” he said.
At another time, when asked whether he would assume the presidency of the Republic if Pedro Castillo left his term, Boluarte replied: “I am not going to answer him that answer, I call for social maturity. The president has been elected for five years.”
On the other hand, he said that the Council of Ministers is in permanent session during the protests in different sectors of the country. Given this, it is already planned that this Thursday 7th there will be a decentralized session of the Cabinet in the city of Huancayo.
Before concluding, Dina Boluarte took the opportunity to make a call for “social peace”, following the demonstrations that took place on Tuesday in Lima, where more than 25 police officers were injured and damage was recorded in institutional offices.

HE CLAIMS THAT POLICE KIDNAPPING IS FALSE INFORMATION.
The Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte, reported that the alleged kidnapping of police officers during the protests was false news and indicated that she is in constant discussions with the Minister of the Interior to learn about the state of the country in the face of the latest demonstrations.
“The Interior Sector tells me that the information about kidnapped police officers is false, so I rectify my statement to that effect,” he said on his Twitter account.
Along the same lines, she noted that she is very sorry about the death of a young man in the city of Ica who participated in the protests.
“I regret the violence during the protests in Ica and express my condolences on the death of citizen Jhonny Quinto Contreras,” said the country's vice president.
“I reiterate my call to all trade union organizations, political leaders, professional associations, civil society, everyone: let us join efforts to get out of this crisis. #UnidosPorElPerú”, he said.
ON THE POLITICAL CRISIS
Through his Twitter account, Boluarte spoke about the events taking place in the country and the measures taken by the government.
“This political crisis affects all Peruvians, especially the most vulnerable, generating poverty, uncertainty and frustration. It is up to the Executive, together with Congress, to listen to the demands expressed,” he wrote on the social network.

“We call on citizens, social, business and political leaders, to contribute to the agenda of democratic solutions that the government proposes to the country. I call for unity for Peru,” he added.
Let us remember that last Tuesday, more than 5,000 protesters clashed with the police, trying to reach the front of the Government Palace where Pedro Castillo was located. After being held by police officers, many of these subjects decided to break the moons of the Public Ministry and break garbage cans and telephone booths.
In addition, looting was recorded in various shopping centers in downtown Lima. When they were arrested by the police, they were found alcoholic beverages, microwaves, fire extinguishers and even a cold bar, so they were taken to the police unit for investigations.
