Guillermo Bermejo filed this Wednesday, March 30, a complaint to the Ethics Committee against parliamentarian Norma Yarrow for revealing a false information, involving the congressman of Democratic Peru. As you remember, the congresswoman used a “fake news” to criticize the former member of the ruling party, during the plenary session of the Congress.
“On behalf of all those who were 'earthed' by the DBA (brute and horada right), I file a complaint with the Congressional Ethics Committee against Congresswoman Yarrow for defamation,” Bermejo Rojas wrote on his Twitter account.
In the document addressed to the president of the Ethics Committee, Karol Paredes (Popular Action), the parliamentarian indicated that the measure is supported by article 27 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliamentary Ethics Committee.
He also explained that Yarrow Lumbreras violated Articles 2 and 6 of the Congressional Code of Ethics. “As well as articles 4, literal e), f), h), k), 5 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure of the Committee on Parliamentary Ethics,” he added.
For this reason, Guillermo Bermejo requested that the complaint be admitted to processing. It also demands that an investigation be opened against the congresswoman of Avanza País and that she be sanctioned by a 120-day suspension.
WHAT DID NORMA YARROW SAY?
During the plenary session of the Congress on March 28, several parliamentarians were debating their views on the second vacancy motion against Pedro Castillo. In turn, Norma Yarrow spoke and submitted an alleged publication of a fake news portal, stating that if Pedro Castillo were to be vacated, Bermejo would start an “armed struggle”.
What the parliamentarian didn't know was that this publication was fake news. Unfortunately, at that time no one could correct it and she criticized former Peru Libre.
But what did the false information say? On this page that viralizes its content through Twitter, the news said that Guillermo Bermejo asked his “entourages” to wait outside the congress, in case they came to Castillo, they would go in to protest.
“Guillermo Bermejo: “If the Castillo cow congress we will resume the armed struggle. The congressman of free Peru asked his ML-19 guerrilla hosts to remain outside the congress until the end of the vote in parliament #VancanciaYa”, is what was read on the false page.
GUILLERMO BERMEJO RESPONDS TO FAKE NORMA YARROW NEWS
When he learned that they had invented false information, Guillermo Bermejo, through his official Twitter account, spoke out to the words of Norma Yarrow.
In a few lines, the congressman assured that these are manipulations that “happen to be pitiful”.
“Nothing more fun than seeing a coup player citing a fake account to say that she called for armed struggle if they vacate the president. Our weapon is reason, truth and the people who accompany us. What you fascists are already happening to pity,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

Although Guillermo Bermejo responded to this act, Norma Yarrow has not commented on the matter, so it is hoped that she will soon come out to rule on the complaint against her for the basis of fake news before the plenary session.
