Belinda announced that she will start a new stage in her life, because she decided to stay in her native country, Spain, to live. She assured that this change makes her feel like she is returning home.
Since she was a child, Belinda and her family migrated from Madrid, Spain, to Mexico City. Now, having lived in Aztec lands for about 27 years, he made the decision to return to his country and continue his career there.
On March 30, as a guest on the Spanish radio program Mega Star FM, the performer of Luz sin gravidad delved into some personal issues as artists she admires, the reason why she doesn't attend her social networks and why she decided to stop living in Mexico.
“I love working here, I really like it and in fact I'm going to live here, which I'm super excited, because it's a new stage in my life, I'm Spanish, and I was also born in Madrid”, confessed the singer.
He explained that, because of the love he has for Spain and what he has experienced in that country, returning to live in Madrid means like coming home.
Since February 2021, Belinda and her then-boyfriend, Christian Nodal, moved to Spain together for a while, because at that time she would start the recordings of Welcome to Eden, a Netflix series that will be released on May 6.
After occasional returns to Mexico and the singer implying in different interviews that she would stay for a few more months in Spain, she finally confirmed that she is returning to the land where she was born.
Likewise, Christian Nodal's ex-girlfriend revealed that she hasn't managed her social networks for two months and that, when she wants to post something on Twitter or Instagram, she asks someone else to do it for her. He made the decision to move away from digital platforms for mental health, he confessed.
Now that she has left social media, she said she feels more awake and attentive to details, but she will probably resume them in a month.
“Since I don't have networks, which obviously won't always be, but it's good to disconnect a little bit, I feel that I'm more awake, that I focus more on the details of things (...) does not mean that I will not return, because I will surely be back in a month, but with measure, not all day there, no”, said Belinda.
On the other hand, she announced that she is currently very focused on making new music, as her character in Welcome to Eden, Africa, has inspired her to compose more. In addition, she said that two of the songs on the soundtrack of the series are hers. However, she warned that it is not the style of music that she usually releases.
