Last Sunday, March 20, was the date selected in the calendar for the development of the India Catalina 2022 Awards, which are now in their 38th version. And, Lina Tejeiro had a nomination for this award, specifically her name was included in the category of 'Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela, Series or Miniseries'; for which production? Well, for his work done in 'Chichipatos', a series that the public can watch on Netflix.
However, the llanera actress was not victorious as the winner, said title was won by Marcela Benjumea on account of her performance as 'Esther Daza' for 'The chosen granddaughter', a production that came to an end on screen at the beginning of last February. Now, from his social networks Tejeiro keeps his fans very informed about what he does in his life: work, travel, House-tour, when he has been in a romantic relationship he has also shown her, in addition, he constantly answers multiple questions about his public and private life.
And, in view of the 2022 India Catalina Awards, in her Instagram Stories she captured the moment when the award ceremony of the category in which she was listed as a candidate was held. Then, while the names of the nominees for the actress rang, she looked excited, then because of her gestures, she seemed to be a little nervous and in the expectation of the winner: she rubbed her hands slightly, looked at the stage and then at the screen, but by the time she heard that Benjumea was the one who received the prize, the llanera threw her head towards behind, he closed his eyes and proceeded to applaud. Also, by other expressions, the actress realized her heartbreak for not winning, but celebrated the victory of her colleague.
“We didn't win, but counting on you, your love and your vows make me a winner. Being nominated with great actresses makes me a winner. It's the first nomination at the India Catalina Awards, but I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank you all”, were the words written by Lina Tejeiro on the subject on her Instagram profile.
If we talk about the other actresses who were also candidates in the aforementioned category, there are two more left, apart from Lina Tejeiro and Marcela Benjumea, of course: On the one hand, there is Sara Pinzón for 'Clave de Sol' and, on the other, Esmeralda Pinzón on account of her acting performance in 'Emma Reyes, The Footprint of Childhood'.
Beyond acting as an actress, during 2021 and part of 2022 the Colombian audience saw Tejeiro carry the title of researcher in 'Who is the mask? ' , reality television program. It is worth remembering that, this production enclosed the participation of several celebrities who, being dressed up, performed musical shows.
