On March 11, chef Juan Diego Vanegas confirmed in an interview with 'Autostar TV' that he had the date ready for his marriage to freediver Sofía Gomez, which took place on Saturday, March 19 at 11 in the morning at the country house of his sister's husband's family, located on the outskirts of Bogotá.
The couple met when the athlete attended as a guest on the program 'Day a Día' of which Vanegas is part of as head chef. In the interview with Andrés Wilches, he confessed that “falling” to Sofia was very difficult because he felt that she did not pay enough attention to him.
According to the Pulzo portal, the wedding was held by the church attended by several celebrities close to the couple as the presenters of 'Day by Day'. Sofía Gomez wore a simple but very elegant white dress with a V-neckline, with a considerable length and sleeves on her arms.
For his part, Juan Diego Vanegas chose a tailor in a dark color, with a white shirt to which he decided not to add a tie or a bow tie. Attendees included Carolina Soto, Carolina Cruz, Iván Lalinde, Yaneth Waldman, Carlos Calero and Catalina Gomez.

The former national viceroen of beauty, shared the union of the bride and groom on her social networks when in front of the altar they sealed their love with an eternal kiss. “Lindos, God bless you”, was the text that Cruz added to his publication in his 'InstaStories'.
The ceremony, which according to the chef would be a simple ceremony in which the main menu would be his famous burgers, was also shared by Carolina Soto with a photograph with other guests in which it can be seen that the fun was not needed.
In addition to the famous ones mentioned, as Pulzo indicated, another of the attendees was the vallenato singer Adriana Lucía, who dedicated some of her most emotional songs to the couple to liven up the moment that finally united them as a couple in the eyes of God.
