Social networks initially met Miguel Polo Polo, as a young man who highlighted the actions of uribism throughout the country, marking his right-wing ideals and promoting political exercise against the so-called “mammertos”, a discourse that leveraged him to the country. His expressions were not very fond of by some sectors in the Colombian territory, however, others identified him as the new generation of uribism, he came to the congress of the Republic from the Afro constituency, but now uncertainty reigns about his future in the lower house.

Instead of Miguel Polo Polo, Lina Martínez, candidate for Afro circumcision with the Community Council of the Limones Black Community in the Colombian Pacific, would arrive at the congress. The votes that appeared would favor Martínez, however, the controversy goes further, considering that this candidate is the daughter of Juan Carlos Martínez Sinisterra, also known as the 'Negro' Martínez, a former senator of the republic convicted of parapolitics and electoral fraud, who at the time was singled out as the great male of the Pacific.

This week Miguel Polo Polo was in an interview with W Radio, here he was questioned about his aspiration from the black communities, he replied that he did it “because he wanted to”, added to this controversies arose because of his alleged connection with indigenous communities a couple of years ago, this in order to achieve political seats in his dizzying career, likewise, it is important to note that for the 2018 elections, he sparked a strong controversy by calling for certain political quotas to be eliminated from the congress of the republic.

In his triune, the political leader asked that women's, indigenous and afro-descendant quotas be removed, however, today it is thanks to these quotas he tried to reach the congress of the Republic, the candidate was reminded that his moment he cited: “If they want so much equality then let's start by removing the quotas of women, indigenous and afro-descendants at the congress. If so much equality they long for the retirement age to be the same for both men and women. In this country there is equality only when it suits them.” .

The right-wing candidate complained about the results and even pointed to President Duque, Polo Polo assured: “The biggest fraud in Colombia's history and President @IvanDuque does NOTHING. It seems that by default they want democracy in our country to come to an end. We are not going to let ourselves steal the elections! GOD gave us the place and only He can take it away from us.” .

According to the politician, there are tables where his tables did not appear and he even assured that there are canceled votes in favor of negritudes, facing this he said: “Thousands of people who voted for me say that their votes do not appear at the tables. More than 80,000 invalid votes in the chamber of negritudes, that's 13%. Never in history have so many votes been cancelled in black. There are more votes in bonaventure than voters. Fraud is BIG!” .

Similarly, he did not miss the opportunity to point out Lina Martínez, noting that her family would have links with the registry office in the first port of Colombia, on the subject, Miguel Polo denounced: “In Buenaventura, 1500 votes from NADA appeared for Lina Martínez, daughter of parapolitical Juan C Martínez Sinisterra. I am informed that the head of systems of the Registraduria of B/ventura is Lina Martínez's cousin. Fraud and corruption is BIG! They won't steal from us @Registraduria.”

Social media users did not miss the opportunity to mock the controversial politician, because initially after learning that she had won her seat in the House of Representatives, she euphorically celebrated with María Fernanda Cabal, one of her best friends and senator of the Democratic Center, however, the counting of votes after the scandal of alleged fraud, changed his outlook and for now there is no official pronouncement by the candidate, who has simply exposed his speech highlighting that there was fraud.
