The Attorney General's Office (FGR) obtained a favourable decision in an indirect amparo trial against an appeal judgment that confirmed the link to trial of Luis Antonio Valencia Zapata, accused of the crimes of organized crime and operations with remedies of origin in the case known as The Master Scam.
On March 9, a Unitary Court in the State of Mexico denied protection and protection to the complainant Luis “V”, who, as a shareholder and sole administrator of a company, together with others, was credited with the possible illegal obtaining of a large sum of money in 2014, from federal resources of “a Secretary of State”, through simulated services.
The Court of Amparo considered that the evidence provided establishes the presumption that the acts attributed to the complainant were committed.
According to federal authorities, the representative of the manufacturing company is accused of participating in a coordination agreement for services outsourced by the Autonomous University of Morelos.
