Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is the big surprise in Spain's roster to face friendly matches against Albania and Iceland on March 26 and 29, against which Pedro González 'Pedri' returns.

The Spanish coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, surprised this Friday by calling Raya and leaving Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea out of the call for those two matches.

Luis Enrique has also left Barça midfielder Sergio Busquets off the list for matches against Albania and Iceland, who is usually a must-have in his club and in the Roja.

The young Barcelona midfielder Pedri returns to the group, who missed the first part of the season due to injury and had not been able to return to the Red since last Euro Cup.

Spain, already qualified for the Qatar-2022 World Cup, will play a preparation match against Albania on March 26 in Barcelona and three days later it will face another friendly against Iceland in La Coruña.
