Hugo Rodallega scored his 10th and 11th goal in the 2021-2022 season with Brazil's Esporte Club Bahia. The Colombian reported in his team's 3-0 victory against Vitoria Conquista, however, this was not enough for the Baiano tricolor to qualify for the finals of the Brazilian state tournament.

This time he did it in dialogue with the program 'Sports Blog', on Blu Radio, where he stressed that it was the coach, Juan Carlos Osorio, who did not want to count on him. “Osorio openly said no. On a television show he said that he respected my career, just as I respect him very much for the career he's had.”

“Before coming to Brazil, I talked to Tulio Gómez for many days and we were even very close to signing, until the coach said he wasn't going to count on me (...) There it was difficult and it didn't happen,” said Rodallega, who pointed out that the risaraldense coach “said that I was old and that he had a project in which I had other players”.
