The Ukrainian authorities reported that seven civilians died in Chernigov and Donetsk, and Russian troops shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region on the 20th day of the invasion.
The Chernigov prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the shooting deaths of three young men by Russian troops in the region.
The Attorney General's Office reported on Telegram that “under the procedural direction of the prosecutor's office in the Chernigov region, a pre-trial investigation was launched, violating the laws and customs of the war and with premeditated murder.”
Meanwhile, at least four people were killed and three were injured in the Donetsk region this Tuesday.
“The Russians killed four more residents of the region. In addition, today we revealed information that in the air strikes on March 10, two more people died in Yatkovka and about two in Mariupol. Two people were injured in Aviv-Divka on Tuesday and one in Oleksandropol. The head of the military department of the Donetsk region, Pablo Kirilenko, reported on Facebook.
Thus, Kyrylenko said that the total number of victims of Mariupol and Volnovaya can not yet be determined.
According to official figures, a total of 83 people have died and 365 civilians have been injured in the Donetsk region since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The Ukrainian agency Ukrinform said that the data is provided without taking into account all those who died and injured in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Meanwhile, Russian troops bombed on Tuesday in the Dnipropetrovsk area between Nikopol and Oleksivka.
“The bombing of the enemy between Nikopol and Oleksivka just happened. Firefighters are working there now. There was no bombing on Nikopol,” Nicopol Mayor Oleksandr Sayuk announced on Facebook.
According to the BBC, Deputy Mayor of Mariupol Sergei Orlov said: “We received information that the Russian army has taken over the largest hospital, using patients and doctors as hostages. We were able to confirm this information, and the governor of the Donetsk region also confirmed this confirmation. I received information that there are 400 people.
It is reported that the Russian military took about 400 people from neighboring homes to a local intensive care hospital on the outskirts of Mariupol and are now being held hostage.
