Melgar beat Cienciano 1-0 on the second leg and entered the group stage of the 2022 Copa Sudamericana. To form the groups of the tournament, a draw will be held next Friday, March 18.
Metropolitanos de Venezuela qualified for the group stage after beating Estudiantes de Mérida, Oriente Petrolero de Bolivia and General Caballero of Paraguay advanced to the next round by beating Royal Pari and Sol América, respectively.
