He also said that he will meet with the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and the governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo del Mazo Masa, in order to address the issue of the works that will be carried out to “get to AIFA without delay”.
During the morning conference, the president presumed that the new Felipe Ángeles Airport is at the height of the best in the world and celebrated that this Sunday, March 13, was allowed income for the population to account for the new facilities through an activity coordinated by Sedena.
Regarding the infrastructure works to connect Mexico City with AIFA, he said that the connection of the suburban train that will arrive from the airport to the Buena Vista station in the center of the capital of the Republic is being considered. Likewise, the expansion of eight lanes of the Mexico-Pachuca highway and the construction of distributors within the vicinity of the airport are planned, which, he said, will be completed in six days.
This weekend López Obrador, has an agenda that includes the “morning” conference in Minatitlán next Friday, where he will also commemorate the oil expropriation. On Saturday, he will travel to Oaxaca to review the works of the Isthmus train and the progress in highway infrastructure in the state.
He will also meet with authorities from Guelatao, Oaxaca on Sunday and leave a flower offering for Benito Juárez. “To make an offering, to apologize because we will not be there on the 21st, we travel to Mexico,” he said, referring to the inauguration of the new airport complex, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21.
The Ministry of National Defense will deliver the facilities of Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
