USRowing is pleased to announce that the following 25 athletes have been invited to the selection camp for the women's eight and women's four that will represent the U.S. at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Held in Princeton, N.J., the selection camp will get underway on April 1. The U.S. won the bronze medal in the eight and finished sixth in the four at the at the 2019 World Rowing Championships, securing spots in Tokyo for the American crews. The U.S. is the three-time defending Olympic gold medalist in the women's eight.
Invitations to the women's selection camp for the quadruple sculls will be announced following the second 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Rowing, which will be held April 12-16. Invitations to the men's selection camp for the eight and four were announced previously. For an overview of how the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team is selected, click here.
