Today FIRS President Sabatino Aracu together with the President of the Peruvian Olympic Committee José Quiñones and the Regidor of the city of Lima Carlos Fernando Canales Anchorena have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for 5 stages of the FIRS Roller World Cup – from 2016 to 2020 – and for the 2021 edition of the FIRS World Roller Games.
The FIRS Roller World Cup is the new concept event created by the International Federation: three days of Roller Freestyle, Skateboarding and Open Roller Marathon that, in a circuit of 4 world stages, will involve the participation of top rank athletes and will also see one of the greatest prize money. A chance that thousands of Roller Sports aficionados cannot miss: pure sports, entertainment and tourism.
The third edition of the World Roller Games taking place in 2021 will include the World Championships of all the roller disciplines in a single venue and will confirm the great interest towards the Roller Sports world.
In the words of FIRS President Sabatino Aracu: "Roller Sports enthusiasts will come from all over the World to the Peruvian capital to follow high-level events and I am sure that we can count on an organization able to exceed any expectation!"
