The iconic Sambadrome, located in the heart of the city, will be converted to the range for the 2016 Games. For the Olympic test event, over 100 of the world's top archers and para-archers made the trip to Rio to shoot on what will be the Olympic course.
The Sambadrome is best known for hosting the city-wide parades of top samba schools during Carinval in Rio de Janeiro, the venue was renovated in 2012 for the Games.
