Happy New Year!
On behalf of the FISU team, let us first wish you all a healthy, happy and successful 2021. This year has many exciting university sports events coming up, including the summer edition of the FISU World University Games in August, and the winter edition in December. Fingers crossed, it's going to be a packed year and you can take a look at some of the expected highlights in our top news story below.
One of the most important highlights during a FISU World University Games is the Young Reporters Programme, that exemplifies FISU's commitment to education along with sports competitions. At each edition of the Games, a handpicked group of talented and aspiring young sports journalists from all over the world have the rare opportunity to cover the mega multi-sport event, shoulder-to-shoulder with seasoned veterans from the industry.
This time, not only do aspiring young journalists have the chance to put forth their candidature through the regular application process, but in fact, four photo and video journalists will be chosen directly through a contest on the official website - and the contest is now open! Get more information here and encourage those in your network to apply!
