
World Sport Congress
The 2013 World Sport Congress runs Tuesday and Wednesday in London.
Speakers include Pat McQuaid, president of the International Cycling Union; Enrique Sanz, general secretary of theConfederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football; Hasan Arat, chairman of Istanbul 2020; and Gideon Sam, president of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee, among others.

IFAB to Talk Goal-Line Tech
An update on goal-line technology tops the agenda for a Saturday meeting of the International Football Association Board in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Other talking points include a clarification to the interpretation of offside, the usage of electronic performance monitoring systems and the rules governing a dropped ball.
"The IFAB will also discuss its future consultation and decision-making processes, as well as its future structure," says a FIFA statement.
"The self-reform of the International Football Association Board was a proposal that stemmed from FIFA’s agreement to major reforms of its governance which were presented to the FIFA Executive Committee at the end of March 2012, and subsequently presented at the FIFA Congress in Budapest last May."

Nordic Ski World Champs
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 wrap up Sunday in Val di Fiemme, Italy.
As of Friday, Norway leads the medals table with a gold, a silver and a bronze.
Russia, Sweden and Canada are the other countries to reach the podium so far.
