Ma Long Extends Amazing Run, World Champion Beaten in London Final
The winner on both occasions that the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals were staged in Macao; 23 year old Ma Long repeated the success in the ExCel Arena on Sunday 27th November 2011 He beat Zhang Jike in the London final in five games (11-5, 9-11, 11-3, 11-4, 14-12) to secure the title for the third time in his career.The win now means that Ma Long has equalled the record of his compatriot Wang Liqin; he won in 1998 in Paris, in 2000 in Kobe and in 2004 in Beijing.
World Champions Clinch Doubles Crown, Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia Sheer Class
The reigning World champions Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia thoroughly justified their top seeded place, by winning the Women's Doubles title at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London's ExCel Arena on the evening of Sunday 27th November 2011.They accounted for the Japanese pairing of Ai Fukuhara and Kasumi Ishikawa at the final hurdle (11-8, 11-5, 11-7, 11-5).It is the second time that Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia have clinched the title; they won in Beijing in 2007.

China's Ma Long and Zhang Jike booked their places in the Men's Singles final at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals at the ExCel Arena in London, following semi-final success on the afternoon of Sunday 27th November 2011.Currently standing in top spot on the Men's World Ranking list, Ma Long overcame compatriot and the player in second spot, Wang Hao, in six games (11-2, 11-4, 10-12, 8-11, 11-2, 11-4) before Zhang Jike followed suit. Listed at no.3 on the global list, he defeated Singapore's Gao Ning, world ranked no.18.
Singaporean and Korean Hopes End at Chinese and Japanese Hands
Reigning World champions, China's Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia imposed their authority on proceedings as matters commenced on the concluding day of play, Sunday 27th November 2011, at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London's ExCel Arena.They overcame the Singapore partnership of Li Jiawei and Wang Yuegu in five games (11-5, 11-3, 11-7, 5-11 11-7), to book their place in the final. An impressive performance by the Chinese duo and an equally impressive performance emanated from the rackets of Ai Fukuhara and Kasumi Ishikawa.
