The Lasko 2020 European 10m Championships in Slovenia has been postponed to November.
The announcement was made by the Lasko 2020 Local Organising Committee (LOC) and World Shooting Para Sport on Thursday (16 April).
The Europeans were initially scheduled to take place from 11-19 June. The new competition dates are 20-25 November.
The decision to postpone the Championships was taken due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced many sporting events to be cancelled or postponed around the world.
Lasko 2020 will be second European 10m Championships following the successful first edition held in 2018 in Belgrade, Serbia, with 122 athletes from 27 countries.
Ukraine topped the medals table at Belgrade 2018 followed by the host nation in second and France in third.
Lasko 2020 will also mark the first time events for vision impaired (VI) athletes are part of the Europeans official competition programme.
The Euros will take place in two different venues in the Slovenian city. The competition and training hall will be located at the Tri Lilije Hall Lasko, while the finals will be held at the Hotel Termana Park.
