Gerflor, the specialist and world leader in resilient flooring solutions, based in France, has become the Official Flooring Supplier for the first-ever official World Table Tennis (WTT) events which start in the WTT Middle East Hub from Wednesday 3 March in Doha, Qatar.
As part of its partnership, Gerflor will provide the distinctive black table tennis flooring which comes with an added protective barrier against COVID-19.
Lionel Arlin, Gerflor Sport Federations and Events Manager said: "Gerflor is excited to be part of this exciting, new WTT era and we are looking forward to the start of the Middle East Hub. Together with our virologist laboratory partner in France, we have also tested the anti-viral activity of our Gerflor flooring and we are delighted that it has complied and met all safety standards required."
WTT’s Senior Partnerships Director, Kimberly Koh, expressed her gratitude to Gerflor for their support which she believes is a strong endorsement of the global appeal of WTT.
