Thanks to its great expertise in sports and Olympic industry, Filmmaster Events became the Corporate Advisor of FIRS. Its first commitments include the support of the Federation for the candidacy of its sports in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic schedule.
Filmmaster Events announces another important collaboration with FIRS, International Roller Sports Federation, which include all disciplines on wheels including skateboarding, freestyle, speed, hockey, figure skating, that have a great appeal for young people. Filmmaster events, thanks to its know how in the Olympic and sports industries and its long-standing experience in the production of several sports events, including Rio 2016 Ceremonies, will support FIRS as its Corporate Advisor. The company will help the Federation to give more value to its know how and its sports and to develop the renewing project proposed by its president, Sabatino Aracu.
The first projects include the support of the Federation for the candidacy of its sports in the Buenos Aires 2018 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic schedule. The Federation sports are internationally recognized but they are still not included in the Olympic sports. The two disciplines that are going to be proposed for the Olympic games are Speed, which is based on a speed match, and Skateboarding, which includes an obstacle course.
Filmmaster Events job is not over yet. The company is already working on the creation of projects whose purpose is to involve the public and the media to make them closer to these sports categories at different levels.
As Antonio Abete said: "The partnership with FIRS is a forward-looking project, and it is highly strategic for Filmmaster Events. With this operation we open up to the sports industry, which we have known for years for several reasons; we produced Rio 2016 Olympic Ceremonies and we have always been in charge of organizing the main sports events in the world. We have a strong know how, but we still have a lot to learn from this sport, which has a long history. We will give our support to the Federation and its renewal, and we will do it by creating some sport entertainment formats. We want the big public to get in contact with these sports, which are extremely entertaining, especially for young people. We would like to thank Sabatino Aracu, the federation president, for trusting us. Together we will build the new image of the Federation".
Filmmaster Events confirms its leadership in the sport industry and the closeness to sports federations even now, while it’s present at the SportAccord Convention.
