
(ATR) The South American Sports Organization needs a company to manage sponsorships, licenses, and television rights for its Games.
ODESUR guarantees large television coverage for its events.
"We have just finished, in Cochabamba, the largest South American Games in history,"president Camilo Pérez López Moreira, stated."Now it is time to move on to the next stage to continue working hard in developing Olympism in South America. For that we need to strengthen our institutional and brand positioning."
An election will decide which agency will help ODESUR for the next five years. These dates include the continent’s 2021 Youth Games, the 2022 South American Games, and the 2023 Beach Games.
At the conclusion of the five-year deal, the winner will have the preference of renewing the contract for an additional four years.
WBSC Extends SSK Partnership for Tokyo 2020
The Japanese company will supply balls and uniforms for baseball teams during WBSC events through 2020, including Baseball World Cups and Tokyo 2020.
SSK previously signed with WBSC to outfit umpires through 2020.
Outfield walls and dugouts will also feature the SSK logo during events.
In a statement, SSK president Kyoichi Sasaki said: "SSK will be providing official competition balls to Baseball World Cups of all categories, from U-12 to professional -- competitions that crown the best baseball country in the world. SSK has been supporting WBSC with umpire gear and apparels for over 20 years, and through this agreement with WBSC, we aim to contribute to baseball's further development in the world."
FIS Signs Viessmann to Main Sponsorship
The 2019 and 2021 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships have a new partner.
The German company’s logo will appear on the bibs of all athletes and in other locations prominent during TV coverage. These include boards, LED screens, leaderboards, and ceremony backdrops.
Florian Fehr, head of sports sponsoring at Viessmann, said in a statement, "Viessmann has been active in winter sports sponsoring for more than 25 years. It has long been one of the central elements of marketing communication and we are pleased that with the support of Infront we will be part of the upcoming FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
Infront negotiated the deal, which includes promotion rights for Viessmann.
