Doha 2011 comes to a close this week with Arab Games action already slowing down a bit.
Events wrap up Tuesday in athletics, sailing and trampoline gymnastics; Wednesday in boxing, handball and karate; Thursday in chess, billiards, swimming and volleyball; and Friday in road cycling, fencing, equestrian, football and shooting.
More than 5,000 athletes from 21 countries are in the Qatari capital for its latest opportunity to audition further for the chance to stage the 2020 Olympics.
Entering the final week, the hosts seem to have second on the medal tally locked down behind usual table topper Egypt.

Off Week for Innsbruck Torch
The flame for the first-ever Winter Youth Olympic Games will enjoy an off week after being lit Saturday in Olympia by Innsbruck 2012 organizers and IOC leaders including President Jacques Rogge.
It's now on display in a specially made cauldron in the Austrian city center for 10 days before the torch relay begins Dec. 27.
