Around the Rings' special edition magazine for the Association of National Olympic Committees General Assembly in Acapulco, Mexico, is now online.
The magazine is sponsored by Sr. Mario Vázquez Raña and ANOC. The meeting in Acapulco marks the 30th anniversary of the presidency of Mario Vázquez Raña of the the Association of National Olympic Committees. A remarkable span that has steered the growth of NOCs from 144 in 1980 to 205 in 2010. The special edition magazine includes an interview with Vázquez Raña.
The biennial assembly opens formally Wednesday at the Fairmont Princess resort, the same place that hosted the 1992 ANOC assembly. Meetings of the five continental associations take place Tuesday ahead of the General Assembly.
