Canada defeated the United States in extra innings to win the bronze medal match earlier in the day. The defeat by the U.S. means it failed to medal in the past two editions of the tournament.

I told them yesterday when you play for bronze, sometimes your energy goes down, but if you don’t play with everything you’ve got, you’re going to regret it after."
