After more than 30 years, roller sports are back into the executive highest Italian sport authority. Giovanni Malagò confirmed as CONI President for the next four-years term.
During the 252° CONI National Assembly, that took place today in Rome, Sabatino Aracu, FIRS and FISR President, has been elected as a Member of the Giunta Nazionale. After 30 years the roller sports will sit again around the executive table of the CONI - the last FIHP President holding this position was Gianni Meriggi back to the 80's.
The esteem towards Sabatino Aracu is surely due to his recognized and respected sport activity, at both national and international level, that led the roller sports to the inclusion in the Olympic Games at Buenos Aires 2018 and Tokyo 2020.
Aracu will put all his expertise an know-how at CONI's service to strenghten development and achievement of the Italian sport world.
