The IFSC will commence LIVE delivery of its eventsat the 2016 IFSC World Climbing and ParaclimbingChampionships, which begin in Paris tomorrow. TheFinals of the event, taking place this weekend, willbe broadcasted in Japan on SkyA.
Answering DemandThe deal, which was brokered by the IFSC’sexclusive international media consultancy,Broadreach Media, is additional to the one struckearlier this year in Japan for delayed broadcast of allthe IFSC’s 20 annual televised events.
Highlights ofthe IFSC World Championships will also be shownon terrestrial television in Japan via NHK, in Austriaon ORF and in 135 other countries worldwide via"IFSC Climbing Monthly," the Federation’s monthlyclimbing highlights show. The IFSC will alsobroadcast the Semi-Finals and Finals of the Parisevents LIVE internationally on YouTube, as usual.
