The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) today launched its new and improved website which will allow the association to provide more engaging and interactive content for its NOCs.
The new website is part of ANOC’s ongoing commitment to modernisation and ensuring it is providing the best possible service to its NOCs. The website address will remain www.anocolympic.org and include all the same features and tools as the previous website, as well as new ones, including a dedicated section for the ANOC Awards. The new ANOC Awards section will be the online home of the awards and a stage to celebrate NOCs and their athletes.
The website’s enhanced functionality will provide ANOC with the capability to host more engaging videos and photo galleries of interest to the NOCs. This will be increasingly important as NOCs and ANOC produce more of their own digital content and look to find platforms to showcase it. The new platform will be more compatible on smartphone devices allowing NOCs to easily access the website from wherever they are in the world. The website was designed by the design company that created the ANOC logo, JTA Design, to ensure that the organisation’s brand look and feel was reflected throughout.
ANOC President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah said:
"The ANOC website is a vital resource for NOCs and so we want to make sure it is as informative and easy to navigate as possible. In an increasingly digital age it is important we remain up-to-date with the latest technologies so that we can continue to provide the best service to our NOCs. We encourage all our NOCs to provide us with their feedback and let us know if there are any aspects of the website they feel can be improved."
