Bahrain has received all the praise from several regional and international parties
following the successful organization of the recently-concluded Olympic Solidarity (OS)

National Olympic Committees.
The forum was held in Bahrain from May 6 to 9 with 90 representatives from 26 National
Olympic Committees from the three zones sharing their information and experiences in an
informative and fruitful environment.
Head of Institutional Relations and Governance at the International Olympic Committee’s
NOC Relations Department Jerome Poivey thanked the Kingdom for the warm welcome,
hospitality and excellent organization of this forum, which he described as an all-round
success.
Poivey left Bahrain straight towards Myanmar where he attended the second forum for
the rest of the Asian National Olympic Committees.
Other letters of congratulations and gratitude were sent from Olympic Council of Asia’s
Nayaf Sraj, Iran Olympic Committee general secretary Shahrokh Shahnazi and Afghanistan
Olympic Committee senior technical advisor Joe Donohue, all of whom extended their
appreciation for the outstanding organization of the forum, and wished Bahrain further
progress.
They stressed that the forum has been extremely informative, entertaining and
enlightening, as well as the wonderful arrangements made for the reception, transport
and the conference hall, as well as their cooperation and hospitality.
